May 30, 2008
Pocatello, ID --- Seton Sobolowski is pretty excited to be the head coach of the Idaho State women's basketball team, and right away, he has decided to give back to the Pocatello community. Sobolewski has announced that he will host the Bengal Girls Basketball Camp from Monday, June 16 to Wednesday, June 18 at Reed Gym. The camp will be limited to the first 50 girls from grades 3-8 for the morning camp, and the first 50 girls from grades 9-12 for the evening camp. The price is more than right for the camp, as it is just $15 for the three day camp. "This isn't about making money," said Sobolewski. "This is about giving back to the community and getting them excited for the things we have planned here. I want to be hands on too, there's going to be lots of stations, and I'm going to be going to all of them, teaching, and making sure the kids have fun. I think it will be great experience." The morning camp is for girls in grades 3-8, and it runs from 9 am to noon, and the afternoon camp runs from 1-4 pm, and it is for girls in grades 9-12. Potential campers can email assistant coach Jordan Green at greejord@isu.edu, or contact him at 282-3623. "I know this will fill up fast, and I wish we could have more involved, but I'm really excited for the camp. It should make for a fun first week," said Sobolewski. |
